Oregon Eye Specialists needed a way to recapture partner referrals after UX issues with their referral portal caused some clinics to go elsewhere. Charlton Marketing developed an attention-grabbing direct mail piece to catch the eye of busy clinic decision makers.

The Challenge

Oregon Eye Specialists partners with clinics who refer patients to OES for treatment and care. OES wanted to communicate with providers about their new and easy-to-use referral system, but wanted to go above and beyond a postcard mailer. Charlton Marketing stepped in to create an eye-catching direct mail piece communicated just how easy the new referral portal is to use.

The Solution

Charlton Marketing worked with the Oregon Eye Specialists team to coordinate creative assets and the assembly of the mailers. The idea of a single-color Rubix Cube being the epitome of easy was used to communicate ease of use in a quirky, attention-grabbing way, and the accompanying brochure explained the upgrades to OES’s referral portal.

In addition to creative services, Charlton Marketing provided the coordination of assembling and mailing the mailers to partners.

The campaign resulted in a conversation starting point for Oregon Eye Specialists’ outreach team, and renewed interest from lapsed Oregon Eye Specialists’ referral partners.
